X-Life Games LLC was founded in June of 2008 by MetroStar Systems with key gaming
industry veterans Neal Hallford, J.R. Register, and Ghafur Remtulla. The first titles
from X-Life Games were funded by the U.S. Department of State as an initiative for
e-Diplomacy and as an open invitation for the world to use for free in an effort
to bridge cultures.
The company's first two projects collaborating with the Department of State, X-Life:
Driven and X-Life: Babangar Blues, are cellular phone titles launched
in the Middle East as an initiative for eDiplomacy. X-Life: Driven will ship
in January of 2009, with X-Life: Babangar Blues to follow shortly thereafter
in February of 2009. Further titles in the X-Life series are currently in
pre-production.
Located in sunny downtown San Diego, X-Life Games LLC, is conveniently near the
city’s vibrant Gaslamp District, and only a few minutes away from places like the
world famous San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, Balboa Park, Legoland, and numerous other
recreational, cultural, and historical attractions.
The founding principle of X-Life Games LLC was to develop a next generation gaming
platform that will combine mobile and Internet-based entertainment into one seamless
gaming environment.
